Pilgrims Board hands over deceased pilgrims’ belongings to families

Kaduna, Oct. 12, 2017 (TNE) The Kaduna State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board says it has handed over, to their families, the luggage and monies of the four pilgrims from the state who died during the 2017 Hajj.

A statement by the board’s Spokesman, Yunusa Abdullahi, on Thursday in Kaduna, stated that the belongings were handed over by a five-man committee which visited families of the pilgrims.

Abdullahi stated that the deceased were Abdulwahab Tukur, Warisu Abdullahi, Ya’u Sulaiman and Capt. Dayyibat Isa all from the Kaduna North local government area.

He conveyed the board’s condolences to the families and people of the local government area over the death of the pilgrims.

He stated that the Overseer of the board, Imam Hussaini Ikara, had prayed that the Almighty Allah should grant them the fortitude to bear the loss.
